Project: Development of a 3D Terahertz imaging system with synthetic image reconstruction for industrial quality control applications (3DTHzSAR4NDT)
The goal of the project is the development of an all-electronic 3D Terahertz (THz) imaging system with synthetic image reconstruction for the use in packaging control or material testing applications. An important technological step is an increase in the depth resolution of THz imaging systems. Here the project takes off with the objective to improve the 3D performance of the existing product SynViewScan substantially.

Project: Live Detection of Hidden Threats via Real-Time 3D Imaging (LiveDetect3D)
The goal of the LiveDetect3D project is the combination of a Terahertz imaging system with a 3D camera in the visible range to investigate a person in a stand-off setting. Concealed dangerous objects are to be detected while observing privacy aspects.

Project: Imaging Terahertz(THz) Spectroscopy for the food industry in realtime (HA-Project-No. 272/11-17)
Project executing organization: Hessen Agentur (HA Hessen Agentur GmbH)

The goal of the project is the technical realisation of an imaging system for THz spectroscopy to be implemented in the food industry. Therefor it is necessary to increase the speed of data acquisition so that an inline measuring process is possible. In Cooperation with the Philipps University of Marburg and with funds of the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE) a functional prototype is going be developed.
