Change in SynView's leadership team
Dr. Holger Quast, COO of SynView GmbH has made the decision to leave the company at the end of this year. His resignation has been accepted with regret. Dr. Quast will remain involved with SynView, continuing his role as a valued shareholder. His day to day responsibilities as COO will be assumed by SynView’s CEO, Dr. Torsten Loeffler. There are no immediate plans to replace Dr. Quast.
During his tenure with SynView, Dr. Quast was responsible for the creation of international distribution channels via partner companies, which permits today’s global presence of SynView. Through his leadership and direct effort, numerous innovative applications of Terahertz measurement technology have been identified and their market potential leveraged. In addition to his contributions as a research scientist, he also oversaw the company’s successful product line and its marketing. Thanks in a large part to his contributions, our financial position is stronger, and we anticipate strong financial results for 2011 and beyond.
SynView is committed to its current focus and priorities, further penetrating the Terahertz market, and developing innovative THz systems. The shareholders of SynView thank Dr. Quast for his dedication and his important contributions to SynView’s development. We wish him well in his future endeavors.
